This fall our Vision system has entered a new field of application – it has been adapted for heavy duty applications and high voltage enclosures. The demands on this type of equipment are very high: all components of the enclosure must be "explosion-proof" in case an accident occurs that forms an electric arc causing enormous pressure.

Climates with extreme cold or extreme heat place especially high demands on electricity and telecom cabinets and other electric enclosures around the world. A reliable heating or cooling system is a necessity, as is a door insulated against the weather outside.

At Industrilås we now offer an exceptionally well-sealing latch-system developed specifically for insulated doors.
– The product is a further development of our existing system Vision Outside, states Adam Linnåsen, who designed the latch for a customer request.

Vision Outside is a rod latch that locks in several places, since more latch points offer an even distribution of gasket compression on sheet metal doors for a variety of enclosures. The system had so far been issued in two configurations – Vision Inside and Vision Outside – depending on whether the latching system is mounted inside or outside the sealed area. The new product is adapted for concealed mounting in insulated doors. It is also noteworthy that the Vision System is the only one on the market that attains the telecom industry’s highest rating: GR487.
